Green Day and Household Compost
Compost pick up every Monday – May to first Monday in November
Things to leave out in your compost bin this day include: yard and household wastes, such as vegetable wastes, lawn clippings, leaves and kitchen wastes (excluding branches, meats, dairy products and fats).
The Town of Carman uses an automated cart system for collection. Each residence will have three carts – 240L cart for garbage, and 360L carts for recycling and compost.

The Transfer Station is not a dump or landfill.
All items are collected at the Transfer Station and transported to other locations for final disposal
